When Dreamhunt Began...

Located In Sofia, Bulgaria, Dreamhunt is one of the few bands
playing kick-ass power speed metal in Bulgaria.
Originally known as Deadlock, 12 years ago,in late 1996, it was formed by lead guitarist Nick (ex-Insomnus) and bassist Ivan. Together they find rhythm guitarist Jordan and drummer Ivo 'The Slayer'.
Their style was at that time a mixture of speed, power and thrash metal with both melodic and harsh vocal parts.
Tired of going from one rehearsal place to another, they decide to make their own. After a few months of searching, finally a spot has been found in Svoboda, Sofia.
Unfortunately, as time passed by, their frontman and lead vocalist Joro, together with the keyboadist Martin quit the band because of personal reasons. At that time their style has changed a bit, and they decided they didn't need another keyboard player and started looking out for a vocalist. Many have tried, but none have survived...
They continued to play without one, hoping somebody would show up soon. The band then started playing some Children Of Bodom covers and their style was influenced by them, so they needed a keyboard player once again.
Nick brought to the band Bobby (lead guitar, Erathia) who recently had started playing keyboards. Having a lot to catch up with, he had been showing some amazing progress so they decided to keep him in the band.
But they had no luck at all finding a good vocalist.
Again many have tried, none have survived...
The band had no real name back in those days, and they had a live show booked, so they needed one badly. Nobody could come up with a good idea, so finally at the same date the concert was, they were announced as '7 P.M.', cause every rehearsal of the band starts exactly at 7 o'clock p.m.
After this show, drummer Ivo 'The Slayer' quit the band.
Fortunately, Bobby asked K1r40 (drums, Erathia) to join the band and he accepted. Bringing some new power to their music, things started going pretty well.
Another show was booked, so this time it was nessesary to think of a better name. That's how the name 'Dreamhunt' was born, everybody liked it and it's being used since then.
Again they were searching for a vocalist, without any success...
K1r40 was getting tired of all this no-vocalist thing so he decided to quit the band and play only in Erathia.
At this point Bojidar, a music genius as we found later, sat behind the drums, without having any experience. He has some really amazing playing skills for a beginner and is improving every single day. The band is still hoping to find a good enough vocalist so they can enter a studio and record their first album.
